Downloads

This is the main page of the much-ballyhooed Downloads section of the site. This is the portal that gets you to a large and varied collection of VST effects, simulations, synths and other instruments, along with free-of-charge software that will make it all work. One thing that needs to be made clear - precisely NONE of these items that you will be downloading are the work of this site’s maintainer or the Empty Seats Band. We just like this stuff, and wanted to have another spot on the web where you can download it should you desire to. If you see something you wrote or own on this site and think we shouldn’t have it available here, just contact us and we’ll take it down right away.

• VST Effects - These wonderful little guys can add reverb to your vocals, put chorus on your acoustic, add thump to your bass, or let you shred like a maniac. They’ll give you the flexibility of having a studio full of great-sounding equipment right on your computer.
• VST Instruments - A keyboardist’s best friend, these virtual instruments will give you a wide variety of sounds at your fingertips that open up whole new worlds of creativity. Synths, pianos, organs, even guitars and other fun stuff await you here.
• Hosts and other Programs - These free (or demo version) utilities will get you up and running in the world of VST in no time. There are programs here to play your VSTi’s, edit your effects, loop your drums and record your music - everything but pay your taxes! Well, not literally, but you should have everything you need.
